One of many projects performed for Reily Foods, this expansion addressed the needs of Reily's growing pre-made tea market. The project's original estimated cost was $7.7 million.
Blaine was then selected to be the General Contractor and worked with Reily to evaluate all aspects of construction via a value engineering process, by which, the cost of the project was reduced to $6.9 million.
One of the unique aspects of the project is that the site is located in the heart of an aging residential area with gerrymandering property lines and is an addition to a lower building. Therefore, the building footprint, and subsequently the structural system, was required to be of varying shapes and heights.
