PSEG Lawrenceburg Energy Facility
One of numerous design build Power Plant Projects Blaine Construction’s Building System Division has constructed across the United States is the PSEG Facility located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. This hybrid steel design Turbine Hall and Support Buildings utilized conventional hot rolled steel for the frame supporting two overhead cranes. All steel above the cranes, secondary, and cladding was manufactured by Varco Pruden Buildings. Also included in Blaine’s scope of work was the general mechanical and electrical systems, and all architectural finishes for the Plant's Administrative/Control Building.
The structural steel for the project is a combination of conventional steel and pre-engineered steel components, provided added value and economy to this and numerous other facilities.
